prefer designing new houses for new projects, but if your budget dictates
restraint we'll sell you construction plans for any of our designs for US$1,000
or
alter the plans to suit your life style - for an upfront
agreed upon fee.
If
after checking our designs you think Plum Design could create a house plan
to satisfy your residential fantasies, please email us and tell us what you'd
like
in a design. Our design fee for a new house design is
$5,000.

we'll need before designing your house:

First - $$$ - how much do you plan to spend building your house?
We don't want to design a house you love but can't afford
to build - we've been there before!

Where will you build and do you know what the local building costs
per square foot of building is at present?

What construction materials are used in your area - wood frame, brick, concrete,
steel, etc.?

If you already have a lot to build on, send us the street address so that
we can find your lot on Google Earth - that'll help us establish your lot
size, required set-backs from boundaries, and north/south orientation
- must know where the sunshine hits the house!
+
How many residents do you wish to accommodate - children, relatives, staff,
pets?
+
Your essential extras - lap pool; steam room; air-tight wood heater; stained
glass windows; dumb waiter; built-in security?

Style - indicate your architectural preferences and biases - or gamble on
our inventiveness.
